    Police Department

    Minimum Qualifications: 

    • High moral character and have a desire to serve others
    • Must have an Ohio Peace Officer Certification at time of appointment. Current or prospective academy students are encouraged to apply.
    • US Citizen at least 21 years of age
    • High school diploma or GED
    • Valid Ohio driver's license with good driving record
    • Eyesight correctable to 20/30
    • Possess the physical ability to perform the tasks associated with the position
    • No felony convictions

    COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

    • Salary range $72,159 to $88,795/year (contract negotiations this fall)
    • Rotating schedule: 5 on 2 off, 5 on 3 off rotation, 8.5 hour shifts
    • Generous time off package including sick leave, vacation, comp and personal time
