Montgomery County Environmental Services would like to inform the Cricket Woods residents of the start of a project in your area that will improve the sanitary sewer collection system.

The existing sanitary sewer lift station at the end of Trailview Drive will be retired and demolished. A new lift station will be constructed nearby on scout property. While most of the work will occur along the entrance drive to the camp, some work will occur on Trailview and will involve excavation to reroute sewers and demolish the station.

Clearing will begin Monday, March 3rd, the initial work will involve vegetative clearing for the station, followed by building and sewer construction tentatively scheduled to begin in May 2025.

There will not be any interruptions in service, but the area will experience minor construction traffic and some additional noise. If access to your driveway will be temporarily blocked, you will be informed in advance.
