On July 23, Butler Township Trustees passed a resolution to place the question of becoming a Limited Home Rule (LHR) township on the November ballot. If the measure passes, LHR would be instituted in the township on January 1, 2025. The Township will make sure residents can cast an informed vote by hosting meetings and continuing to share information on the website, social media channels, newsletters, and personal meetings.

Please join township officials to ask questions and learn more about Limited Home Rule at our Informational Open Houses that will be held at the Township Meeting Hall located at 3780 Little York Road on the following dates:

• Thursday, September 19, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
• Monday, October 21, 2024 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
