Police K9 Zorro Retires

Kathy Baker Uncategorized

After a successful nine-year career with his handler Sgt. Amy Carr and 400 deployments leading to the arrests of 150 subjects, beloved police K9, Zorro, has retired. He will live out his retirement years with Sgt. Carr and her family. The police department will select a new handler and K9 in early 2023.

The Christian Life Center made a generous donation toward the purchase of Zorro’s successor and related equipment. If you would like to make a donation to be used solely for the new K9, K9 cruiser and equipment, please send it to Butler Township Police, Attn: K9 Unit, 3510 Sudachi Dr., Dayton, OH 45414.
