The Butler Township Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) and Zoning Commission (ZC) has scheduled public hearings at the Butler Township Meeting Hall, located at 3780 Little York Road, Dayton, Ohio 45414, on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., to consider the following cases.

BZA 4-25 Requesting a Variance to Article 30, Section 3001(A) to permit the construction of a 30’ x 60’ (1,800 sq. ft.) accessory structure located in the front yard. The property is located at 8503 Dog Leg Road, applicant Chuck Frogge.

BZA 5-25 Requesting a Conditional Use to Article 7, Section 702 (A.5) to permit the placement of a ground mounted solar array in the rear yard. The property is located at 8096 Frederick Pike, applicant Caleb Jarrell.

BZA 6-25 Requesting a Conditional Use to Article 14, Section 1402 (A.17) to permit the construction of a Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburger Restaurant. The property will be located on Benchwood Road, Parcel IDs include #A01 00314 0127, A01 00314 0128 & A01 00314 0119, applicant Plaza Street Fund 369, LLC., 3400 College Blvd., Suite 200, Leawood, KS 66211.

ZC 4-25 Requesting to consider a Planned Unit Development (PUD) Modification of the current ‘PD-2‘Planned Commercial Development’ for a proposed Automobile Washing Facility. The subject property is located at 3311 Benchwood Road, Parcel ID #A01 25927 002 on 1.181 acres (old Frisch’s Restaurant). The applicant is Joe Bertucci, agent for Flying Ace Car Wash, 13375 National Road, SW, Suite D, Reynoldsburg, OH 40368.
